For information about quilting from the Husqvarna Viking web site go to: www.husqvarnaviking.com/us/519.htm Piano Quilt wall hanging got a lot of attention when it was displayed at a Husvarna Viking Convention gallery of sewing arts.  This charming floral motif wall quilt was created using a Husqvarna Viking floral embroidery. It was edited in one of Viklings great software programs to alter the order the flowers stitched out. This was done to add texture using a felting machine at the appropiate color stop/change location. It was finished off using an echo quilting technique around each flower.  This handsome Anita Goodesign project shows the beauty of using a 30 weight cotton thread in linear embroideries. The silk background makes the perfect surface to embroider on.  This floral design came with the Designer Diamond. Mirror imaging and flipping the design gave it a whole new look when stitched out on the Magestic hoop.  This beautiful Designer Diamond design is enhanced by stitching it out with variegated thread. Cross hatching adds texture and interest to this eye catching wall hanging.  |
